WSI’s expansive presence in the National Capital Region (NCR) covers four states and the District of Columbia. Approximately 1000 employees on 10 security contracts work in the region providing first-class, professional services to a wide-array of clients including both the U.S. Government and commercial sites.
The NCR has an expanding presence in the New York City area where security operations include over 300 employees. New York City, along with the Washington D.C. area have both proven to be a focus for terrorist threats. WSI/ NCR is proud of its professional security forces that are actively engaged in protecting U.S Government facilities in New York City and Washington, D.C.
In an effort to support and coordinate the efforts of such geographically diverse areas, WSI has a fully-staffed regional business office which is certified as a cleared facility capable of processing personnel for security clearances at all levels. Additionally the office functions as a regional recruiting and administrative processing center. It also incorporates and provides the capabilities and competencies of a certified Training Academy.

The mission of NCR is to provide leadership and management oversight for WSI physical security contracts in both regions.
This mission requires cleared security officers who are skilled, trained, and disciplined to the level required to protect some of the Nation’s most essential properties, interact with senior government officials, federal law enforcement and security agencies, foreign officials, dignitaries, high profile events and the general public.

WSI security officers are in the front lines of protective services for Federal and local agencies with assignments that include the Drug Enforcement Agency, Department of Justice, Federal Aviation Administration, Holocaust Memorial Museum, Government Accountability Offices, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, the Department of Homeland Security, and many others.
The WSI/NCR security team also provides security services to commercial clients throughout the region.
The WSI/NCR Team’s roles include serving as Justice Protection Security Officers, DC Special Police Officers, Executive Protection Drivers, Badging and Security Clerks, and Alarm Station Control Center Operators. Most are armed and licensed in the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and/or Virginia, and trained by the WSI/NCR office to comply with FPS, SPO, and other standards.
