Wackenhut Services, Inc., www.wsihq.com a premier provider of protective force, fire, EMS, and facilities management services to the US Government, has an immediate opening for a Sr. Proposal Writer at its Headquarters in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
Position is responsible for developing compliant, responsive and persuasive proposals to solicitations. Specific responsibilities include researching, writing, and editing material for document development of proposals, capability statements, presentations, qualifications and white papers; performing quality control reviews; analyzing Request for Proposals (RFP), tailoring resumes in accordance with RFP requirements; and, assisting with final proposal production and assembly
Qualified applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of proposal development experience. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Excellent reading comprehension, writing and communication skills required. Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced work environment, work independently, and adapt well to last minute changes and requests. Computer literate in MSWord, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must be able to work long hours and weekends and travel occasionally.
